"Head under Water" is an abstract artwork on 200gsm watercolor paper, built up in layers, using pencils, crayons and acrylics and finished with a matte varnish. Inspired by my love for nature and especially waterfronts, this piece is my abstract take of the experience of diving into the lake from my dad's boat, when I was a child; that feeling of being under water, looking down and seeing the water plants, swimming up to the surface, looking up, the light being filtered through the water and getting brighter, seeing the blue of the sky while surfacing.
